Durable and strong textiles in typical indigenous rich colouring. This 'tierra' version has a base of calm earth tones, such as beige, taupe and grey, which powerfully carries the colours of the motifs. Ideal as a picnic blanket. Also a great mood setter on the (outdoor) bench or (outdoor) table. This product is not handmade, but it is very traditional and made in Peru and Bolivia.
Dirt-repellent and very hard-wearing. Washable at 30 ℃; after a wash they are as good as new! Delivered in assorted colours and designs. Dimensions: 135 x 130 cm.
And fun to know: originally they are baby slings with which the local population of the Andes effortlessly transport the heaviest items, such as potatoes and corn. And of course also their babies and small children. It makes sense that they are so indestructible!
